acupuncture

Acupuncture is a process in which very fine needles are inserted into the body. These needles can be used with or without an electric current and can be used to stimulate muscles and nerves to reduce pain, increase range of motion and blood flow, and many other effects! Dr. Blaquiere and Keely Briggs are both trained and certified to provide acupuncture.

What To Expect

For your first appointment to our clinic you should schedule about an hour to 90 minutes of your time in clinic. Paperwork will be sent to you beforehand to give us information about your condition and overall health. If you can’t complete this beforehand, you should arrive to your first appointment 15 minutes early.

After your provider receives your paperwork, they will conduct a thorough history which includes questions about the pain you experience and your general health. They will then conduct a physical examination which involves moving your joints to recreate your pain.

Once your provider finishes your physical examination, you will have a discussion together about your diagnosis and treatment plan moving forward.
